At Little Explorers, we provide a stimulating and enriching environment for young children to learn, grow, and explore while developing social/emotional, physical, cognitive and language skills. In our school, children learn about the world around them by “doing” with hands-on, meaningful experiences we call “explorations.”

  • Enquiry-based learning– offers a way to open up children’s learning through enquiry and exploration of new ideas. They have the confidence to ask questions and learn through discussion.

This includes how the teachers builds and maintains the interests of the children in the classroom, establishes schedules and routines, organizes individual and group activities for the children and creates a conducive classroom environment in which children learn how to get along with each other and solve problems peacefully.

Technology aided learning

We, at Little Explorers, provide a carefully planned & structured environment in which the child grows and learns in a natural way. We provide the child with hands-on learning experience by adopting the latest technological tools for teaching such as Interactive White Boards, e-blocks, Digital Class, Phonics Practice etc. These teaching aids clarify the basic concepts of numbers, words etc., enhance the concentration power of the children, improves their listening, speaking & reading skills, enables fast-paced learning and makes learning interesting for them.

We focus on all the broader areas of Learning and Development. All these areas are connected to one another and are equally important.

Parents Participation Programme-Synergy

We believe that nurturing our ites requires a sound partnership between the school and the home. Therefore, we have created a unique school-home partnership programme – titled “Synergy“. The word Synergy literally means “coming together of two distinct influences for a common purpose“. As a Parent, you shall be a part of Synergy and you shall be invited to attend various parent participation programmes, parenting workshops, performances, parent & grandparent volunteer opportunities etc. Thereby, not only enhancing your parenting skills but also giving you an opportunity to send a message to your child that her life is important to you.

Attending Synergy programmes results in bridging the communication gap between the home & the school. As a result, both work together which ensures that our ites are better understood and they receive a healthy & a positive environment both at school and at home. To enable constructive involvement of parents:

  • We have an open door policy where we welcome parents to give feedback.
  • Hold regular parent teacher meeting where the parents can meet with the teachers & review the progress of their child on a regular basis.
  • Ensure two way communication between the Parents and the school.

Little Explorers Assessment

We, at Little Explorers, believe in complete Holistic development of the child through various parameters and regular assessments:

  • The teachers observe every child to find out about their unique abilities & needs, what they are interested in and what they can do.
  • Children’s responses in different situations are noted.
  • Observations are analyzed and children’s achievements or their need for additional support is highlighted.
  • Full attention is paid to analyze and make report on the social, physical, emotional and mental development of the child.
  • Parents are involved as part of the ongoing observation and assessment process.
